MERCHANTS: NASHVILLE

Speaking of Chevron… I recently had the opportunity to dine at Merchants in downtown Nashville. As you can tell from the pictures below the entire decor was centered around a large chevron pattern.  As I soon as I walked in the door and saw the black and white chevron floors, I knew I was going to like this place. From the menswear wool on the back of the seats, the marble counter tops, hand crafted wood bar and the seemingly colorless decor, every detail of this historic restaurant was carefully designed. I was of course captivated by the decor and the amazing food but my favorite part of Merchants might be the servers in bow ties! Everyone knows I am a sucker for that! It was a modern day speak easy that I highly recommend visiting while in Nashville!
